B-CC!!!! It's official now! Posted on 04-17-2005
BabyTig2005

Since FAMU didn't accept me till 3 days b4 the deadline for scholarships to be due and my FAFSA wasn't on file, I can't get any financial aid from the school. I wanna cry so damn bad because since BCC is paying my full tuition and the band is paying room and board I can go there for the free free. Sooo I gotta be rivals to my dream skool!!! I hate dat ish with a damn passion! I wanna cry cuz I really wanna be at FAMU! But I will transfer one day cuz I am DETERMINED to be a RATTLER!

Well y'all......................... It's official now, I WILL be attending B-CC this fall. :-( :x , but NO MATTER WHAT! I WILL find my way to FAMU and no matter how hard they try to contain me there, I will one day be a RATTLER! whether it be next fall, or the fall after that, I WILL BE A RATTLER! I am highly upset, but the ONLY way I was gonna get there was with the help of Dr. Chipman, but he didn't come thru for me. I had no choice but to go ahead and send off my info to "THE ENEMIES", b/c if I didnt then I wouldn't be in school this fall and I CAN NOT let that happen. But now, I got this letter from them (B-CC) saying that I have been PLACED in a program/blocked schedule with nuthin but HONORS classes b/c I exempted my placement examinations. The schedule is: General Biology honors, General Biology Lab-honors, Honors College English, Freshmen Seminar I-honors, Honors African American History, and Honors College Algebra. I gotta check that out, cuz I am not tryin to FLuck my freshmen year or end up wit a 2.0 G.P.A. LOL anyways Well, das da HORRIBLE news. It REALLY hurts, but das da shocking truth.

Well, I believe that GOD makes all things work out for the good of HIS people. Maybe FAMU is not the way you should go, maybe BCC is your destined institution of higher learning. I do love your enthusiasm and desire to be at FAMU and in the Hundred though. Good luck with whatever you end up doing. There's no doubt in my mind that you will be ok (you're one of "Ju-Ju's" kids so you'll be straight).

LOL at "Ju-Ju's" kids. LOL yeah, he's a great band director, but he's leavin and goin to another skool. That man makes up some of the best shows that I have seen. lol but anyways tho. I was talkin to sum of my friends last night and they (seniors at my highskool) were tellin me NOT to transfer to FAMU after goin to B-CC, cuz I WILL get beat bad and they WONT see me anymore. I juss laughed, cuz they were OVER reacting. But I think I will still get to transfer b/c I'm goin to Law School, and B-CC does NOT offer everything I need as far as my major is concerned, so maybe there will be hope. But we'll see.
