Well I went the weekend of April 22. My school took on something like a senior trip from that thursay-saturday but the actual grad celebration was that friday night. Me and my homegirls were in such anticipation to see cute boys from other states and other cities in Florida, eventhough MIA is where we represent. Definitely this came about because that friday night we saw many cute boys. Our school was actually at the Grad Bash celebration at ISLANDS OF ADVENTURES AT UNIVERSAL STUDIOS. Me and my friends there went into a club there called THE GROOVE where we met some guys from Broward County just a few miles from where we are in Miami. we met them by them coming up in th lil club shouting their area code of "954" when we started shouting back "305". So one of the guys came up behind me and started dancing and told me to show me how they do it in DADE (another name for Miami) so of course I did . The overall experience there was good but alot of people thought it was kind of backwards that the club scene was in the pre-party and for the remainder of the night it was just the actual park where the rides were because knowing me and my friends we would have been dancing all night in that club if it was that way. How about my friend took a nice pic of me and the guy dancing and when I got back I showed my boyfriend who didn't go on the trip, he was jealous, which I wanted him to be  Anyways, who else was at the Grad Bash celebration @ Islands of Adventures /Universal Studios? being that there were two celebrations going on one @ Magic Kingdom and the other at Universal Studios
Thats what im talking bout reppin that DADE County, I went last year and the duval **** was too damn fine, was duval there this year?

that's where I live... 8) Our school doesn't even do senior trips...there's like 10 people going to Cancun on May 21st (they're paying for it themselves) but that's it...they charge us all of those junior and senior dues but all we get is Prom, yearbook, and free school newspapers...the rest probably goes straight to the principal's POCKET...

we paid for our gradnite trip out of pocket.... its not school sponsored.....students organize it and they get chaperons and teachers sometimes help out.......well A teacher will sometimes help

You are definitely right the guys from Duval (4 those of who don't know the boys from Jacksonville, Florida) were fine. Its funny because my homegurl was doing the lil karaoke stand singing and a group of them were on stage in the background. We took a picture with them to it was one particular one that was so cute. Anyways, I heard that Duval boyz are stuck up but I don't know if thats true since i'm from Miami, are there any girls on this board (from Duval) that would know that because i'm staying in Florida for college and it would be good to know a lil bit about them in case I meet a Duval boy in college

I went, April 29, and my school was the best dressed of course. Thats how we do it in South FL. The kids that were there, bored us, so we made our own fun, we go to a school that accepts Broward and Dade county, and we was just straight cracking through out the whole thing. (Broward come with something original "If you from DADE, you don't Bathe" is old) its all about the 305. There were people from every where, and some good looking bois from other schools, but its sad to say that even the bois at my school that i wouldn't look at twice, made me wanna holla compared to the kids that showed up on our day. But it was fun. Norland and Turner Tech was there. Space Mountain has been and always will be the best ride ever, and the party boat was off the hook. We paid 330 for ours cause we were there the whole weekend, and went to universal and island of adventure.
