AFTER GETTING ALL YOUR ACCEPTANCE LETTERS, WHAT FACTORS DETERMINED WHICH SCHOOL U CHOSE? IN OTHER WORDS, WHAT *STOOD OUT* OR WAS SO SPECIAL ABOUT ONE OF THE SCHOOLS THAT YOU GOT ACCEPTED TO THAT MADE YOU DECIDE TO GO THERE?
To be truthfull honest, my senior year was really difficult for me, I went through alot. I only applied to 3 schools. I went to the one who accepted me. I'm glad I did!!
Couldn't have put it better myself. I too, didn't do good in high school so here is the only place i was accepted. I enjoy my classes...some are a piece of cake, some challenge me and some I learn a new thing everyday. People always have SOMETHING to say about our school. We work as hard as other students...we deserve just as much respect. :roll: But...people who have never stepped foot on our campus, or their cousin Leroy said that all we do is smoke weed, always want to put us down...
But we must shake them hatas off 8)

TO BE HONEST I TOOK MY FIRST COLLEGE SEMESTER AT A PRIVATE WHITE SCHOOL AND IT GAVE ME THA WRONG IMPRESSION OF WUT COLLEGE WUZ REALLY LIKE SO I THOUGHT I JUST WASNT ONE FOR COLLEGE. AND ADDED TO DAT I WUZ GOIN TO VSU JUS ABOUT EVERY OTHA WEEKEND SO I SAW HOW MUCH FUN DEY WUZ HAVIN...AND I WUZ MISSIN MY GIRL SUMTHIN SERIOUS SO I TRANSFERED ATTENDING... VSU FALL 04 AND DONT SEE MYASELF REGRTTING A MIN. OF IT
Really....I choose Morgan not only because of the DOUGH they givin up...but I really fell in love with tha all around atmosphere, the people were off the hook ERRYTIME i visited the campus. I knew I wanted to go to a HBCU and I knew that Del State was NOT an option since I wanted to get da HAIL outta DE I got accepted to all the schools I applied to but Morgan had that fire, plus its convenient in its location, not TOO far from home in a city wit WILD CLUBS :twisted: :wink:
I chose mine because it's closer to were I live....and I aint goin all the way to the STL. So I settled for anythin prodminately black. :lol:
