No I'm not conceited. My boyfriend and whole family can attest to that mainly because I'm shy. I was trying to post a topic that young ladies may relate to....not just drop **** gorgeous women, but women that have self esteem. If my post offended people I'm sorry. I got the idea from another topic posted in the forum and thought that some people might have something mature to say on it besides making negative comments about how I'm stuck up. If you aren't feelin the post then just simply don't reply...damn and (asked for females to reply. (JUST FEMALES) That's why this forum be so borin and slow now. Y'all be to quick to criticise ( or whateva) people when you don't even know 'em. :?: :-D

3.) I hate how I feel like I have to maintain a certain image like makin sure my face looks okay, makin sure that my outfit looks good on me, keeping my eyebrows, finger/toe nails groomed, etc.
If u pretty then u shouldnt have to worry about ya outfit, nails, eyebrows, whatever. **** people can have the flyest outfit on and they hair done. If u got it u got it. U can be pretty in basketball shorts, cold in ya eye, chipped nails, whatever.
You should of posted this in the ladies forum cause when it's in the yard it's gone get hit and criticized if worthy by male and female. Plus as many people don't go on the ladies forum. But in all reason you did come off somewhat conceited. But hey, It all depends on one's perception.

i saw this post before peeps started replyin and i wanted to wait around and see what kind of responses would pop up. I really don't know what to say on the issue. On one end, i see where u are comin from....kinda :???: . But my standpoint is this...why complain about being attractive? Is that really a burden? Well if so, someone somewhere would love to have it.
I believe that i am beautiful. But i've never made a post about it. Even when people compliment me, i say "oh hush" or "stop it". I dunno, maybe modesty ain't the thing to have nowadayz:???:

However, if u only wanted this to be a post for the ladies, perhaps u should have put it in the ladies forum. And even that wouldn't ensure that men wouldn't respond.
