What pisses :x you off most about your school to the point you wish you had gone to your second choice? What would your second school have been?
For me it's when I realize my school doesn't have enough extra circular activities. My second choice so far is Langston University. If anyone out there has any info. on Langston hit me up.
at fisk... hmmmm... where do i begin....
-no football team...
-no band...
-small gym with no air conditioning... and i play ball so i hafta deal with it on a daily basis..
-we have sodexho too...
-bein across the street from meharry medical college and the hospital, so you wake up to sirens @ 4:00am everyday...
my 2nd choice was Xavier, but i would never change schools, no matter how bad it gets!
i hate how every process in HU's administration office is soooo damn slow...
students get treated like royalty in Cali and they dont even pay half as much as i do to go to HU (28,000).
U pay 28 Gs to go to HU? U sure u aren't talkin about Hampton :???: ? Cuz i ain't never had a bill come to me that high from Howard, not even when i moved into a single soph. year.
Will give it to u about Administration tho...i can't stand the darn A-building.
But other than that, i love HU. Even with the flaws, the headaches, and the drama. I wouldn't prefer to be at any other school. I know where my heart is
@ Tuskegee
- the sodexho
- the administrations (yep all of them, from financial down to the provost)
- the fact that the 3rd floor of a dorm can flood because of a mechanical mishap in the wiring of the sprinklers
- the fact that there is no visitation, besides the lobby and thats closed most of the time
- that the school cost more than howard...yea i kno i compared both statements....
- the fact that its in the middle of nowhere AND THERE REALLY IS NOTHING TO DO, but go to the Soul or Harrisons on the weekend, or leave the city and have to drive damn near 30 minutes away just to have a good time or a hour and a half to ATL just so u won't see the same faces.
- the local bums, i didn't think such a small town couldhave so many bums, and the bums be tryna fight if u don't have no money or have the nerve to catch a damn attitude.
- the fact the school lies to high school kids tellin them that the YARD jumps every weekend nonstop :what:
MY SECOND CHOICE LAST YEAR WAS HOWARD. AND YOU SEE WHERE I AM GOING TO BE AT IN THE FALL LOOK DOWN AT MY sIGnatuRE!

You shoulda went to TSU then... .
The only bad things I can really see about TSU is the food at the main campus(we have Aramark, not sodexho) and the somehow supernatural ability of the financial aid office to put a balance on your account thus preventing you to register... :???: The dorms could be better too
the only thing that A&T pisses me off about is there damn financial aid...they don't ever give me any money and i'm dirt poor or they be losing my papers...****!!!!
another than that I love A&T!!!!
The thing that I hate most about Alabama A&M
is that we pay for a health and wellness center but their is no sign of construction being done. There is a big field that has a sign that says "Site of Future Health and Wellness Center" WTF!! A senior told me that she has been paying for it since her freshman year and she has yet to see it. A mess :x
Also that we need to tear down our Student Center and build a new state of the art Student Center. I went to Hampton and almost fainted.
Too many damn mountains to climb. We are finally getting a shuttle bus.
Our gym is called "The New Gym" but it was built in the 70's. :o
Why do we have a burger line, soulfood line , pizza line and pasta :???: line :???:
I WENT to Oakwood College, 'nuff said....
everything is a mess, campus, lack of activities and sports....
we r a CHRISTIAN CAMPUS and the students act like they r straight out of the projects making fake greek letter orgs and whatnot, a damn shame it is....
hmmm, financial aid ****...
cafe ****...
no visitation whatsoever...
teachers are....well, interesting...
three mandatory worships a week to get a leave along with chapel....
hmmmmmm, some other things too......
CLARK ATLANTA HERE I COME!!!
Heyyy I didnt know ur from ST.Louis......*mumbles*wackasscity*
What I don't like about SIU
-The racist police we have out here
- The fact that we only have 1 club
- The fact that black people fail to "stick together" out here
- The fact that it's so many unispired black people here
- The fact that I havent had a BLACK teacher yet ( I will this fall BLACK AMERICAN STUDIES BABY!!)
-The fact that they won't make Black American Studies a major but we have funds to build a new basketball stadium...rec..and apartsments
Other then that it's cool
