I met this girl today and she had a very different type of exotic look to her so I asked her what her nationality was and she said she honestly didn't know...I thought that was kind of weird but has anyone ever met anyone like that?

but my parents have always taught me about my Black heritage and how strong black people are, so the other things that compromise me aren't as important anymore it came with slavery, and it something i dont acknowledge
Thats a very good answer! I hate when people get all technical. To white folks we are ALL the same.

exactly, because we had this project in my class to describe what makes us who we are, so i am telling them about the portuguesse, the hispanic, the East Indian, everything and my teacher was shocked. and i am like yea, black people come from everywhere, but i don't even mess with the portugesse or hispanic part of my family, they think i am some sort of untouchable because i am not as light as they are.. whatever, they black they can just pass.

Technically this question is inappropriate for an opening conversation. It's akin to, "Is yo momma and daddy still together?" or "You picking up weight" or asking a woman her age.
She's colored in my book. That's enough for me.
my mom doesnt know what she is. she says she is black but there is no way she is full, maybe like 25% or something...she is light as hell with freckles..green eyes..and curly hair, her sister has/had sandy brown straight/curly hair..with BLUE eyes...so yeah you try and figure it out...
She probably is just black. All my aunts and uncles, and my father, have freckles, light hair, and light eyes... but they just tell people theyre all black. They are half Irish, but dont tell people that.
yeah itz not that simple we know that my mom is white...bc right before i was born my mom and dad had to go to canada for a funeral on my moms side...half of her family there was white!! lol
