for a lurker u stay havin alotta opinions on sumthin. LaidBack is the person who made this post. And what u mean he dont need to be a mod in this forum. WHY NOT??? :???: If he is interested, thats good, cause we need active greeks to regulate this board and he has been on the site for a lil minute now so I dont think it would be a bad idea for him to be a mod.

You tryin to be a mod in the forum LaidBack?
I'd really rather see it be a private forum where folks are granted access based on conversation with a Moderator rather than an open forum. Kinda set up like the private school forums are.
I disagree with that cause if we do that, we are just making it like ur greekpeeps site where we have to be granted access and this that and the 3rd...the whole point of this forum is just to be able to communicate in an open forum..greeks and GDI's. Making it exclusive would defeat its purpose.

A member with concerns about all these GDIs and ghosts, such as you, trying to speak on Greek Life and are not a part of Greek Life.

What about it? Did you wanna join or something? You can't see much looking from the outside in.

Give me five reasons why I shouldn't be a MOD here.

nah I'm not feeling it both greeks and nongreeks should all be welcome here to read and post as they see fit and as problems arise they can be handled but to completely rework this forum and restrict those deemed "(insert term here)" in your opinion is not right do that on your own board NOT here

Interesting. I'll have to send the same e-mail to another HBCUconnect Staff person in that case.
Yeah... I'd advice that you holla at will. That's your best bet because he's the only person in admin that i've seen on the boards who would actually cares somewhat to my knowledge. And college mom seeing that you've managed to contact site management, what was the email address that you used?

You certainly have a right to express your opinion as I have a right to express mine.

That's where you are wrong. I agree that everyone should be able to read. Posting is a separate story all together.

By whom? Keep up with the current events. There is a reason I am posting this question.

But that's your opinion. And I'm sure that everyone has one about this issue.

Uhm, OK. Thanks for sharing.

Lady J or anyone who has been here for a while. Is there a particular reason why the school forums are now hidden and only available to a particular usergroup?

When Chris created them last year, he just made it so that people from the different schools that were deep on the board could have their own private forum and network with each other and talk about things solely affiliated with their respective HBCU. It was made so that only people from those schools could be granted access into a certains schols forum so we wouldnt have to talk about and discuss everything publicly in the HBCUConnect community and so that people who dont attend that school could just look into the forum whenever they wanted...lol...which is why u mentioned the hidden school forums, cause thats how you think the Greek Fam forum should be.
