Heeey! I*m gonna be in Atlanta for like a week and I was wondering where are some cool places I can go, as far as food, shopping, tourist attractions, and just plain entertainment. Help me out People...... Oh yeah another thing... How can I get in the AUC Private thread thing or is there even one???

How the Atlantan's not gonna mention or Gladys and Ron's Chicken and Waffles? BTW, Justins has a great happy hour, but um. . . . the food isn't that great.

In addition to what has been mentioned... -definitley hit up Maggianos Italian restaraunt and Pappadeaux's Seafood -some shopping in the Chattahochee store district - The Peacock - If u wanna go to the movies, we have a Magic Johnson theater right next to Greenbriar Mall hmm, i'm drawing a blank, but i'll be back with more

Too many kids be there for my liking. If u want to be at a theatre that has a mix of teens and adults (like I do) hit up the theatre at North DeKalb Mall in Decatur

Only out of towners get excited about that...but that Lemonade and Iced Tea at Gladys is good...

But some of those other places yall listed (Houlihans, Beni Haha, Maggiano's, Pappadeux's ) can be found in any number of cities. I like the spots that make your city unique. It's like me visiting LA; I'm going to Fatburgers, cuz we don't have any in my area. Or folks from some parts of Florida coming to NC, they always screaming for Bojangles.
