Well, I'm back from my month long stay in Iowa, during the program we went to Chicago and spent the weekend there with the Chicago counter-part to our program.
I really liked riding the El-Trains. It was kinda like riding the trains in ATL, 'cept it was up in the air and I got to see all of Downtown Chicago from a higher point of view. Downtown Chicago is really different than ATL or Columbus, I guest thats because Chicago has alot of older buildings still standing around from the 1930s and whatnot.
Saturday night we went to the Puerto Rican Festival in Hubert Park. LAS CHICAS FUE MUY CALIENTE!!!!! 8-) It kinda sucked at the end because me and some of the people from my porgram had to walk about 8 blocks in the West Side of Chicago at 12:00 at night to catch the train. Not to mention that everybody else was ****....it was an *interesting* experience to say the least.
The highlight of the trip had to be the day we spent on the Magnicent Mile. Maaaaaaan, it puts Buckhead to shame! Every store I could think of was there, me and my roommates stopped and ate at Lowerys.
OH
MY
GOD
That was the best food I ever had in my life, I could've even finish it all it was soo good, especially the cream corn. They need to open a Lowery's in ATL. The street performers made the trip great too.
All in all, I liked the time I spent in Chicago even tho Tiphani played me tho. I wouldn't mind maybe going to Law School there and living there for a while after wards.
eh..
who knows :-D
