I will be a transfer student beginning in my junior year. Although I have been interested/purusing for the past several years, I know that it will take great efforts on my part to stand out. I know that I have/will have soon all of the "application protocol" down but I do very much so wish to get to know the ladies of my OofC on a more platonic, personal level.
Knowing people who know people isnt enough. You have to branch out and be active, and I am VERY interested in doing that.
So to Candi, work hard and don't get discouraged. You'd be suprised how many people that have been on campus longer than us who haven't even started their research or went to any events.
The pool is big but the swimmers are few.
