In the battle of God verses Science, where do you stand? I'll be back with my views. This question was posed to me and I thought it would make an interesting topic for da fambo...
So you live in some other metaspherical realm than I do? Science is a religion. Just so happens to be more proven than any other one, so people immediately dismiss it as religion.
i dont know where i've seen or heard this before but..I'd rather live believing there is a God and die finding out there isnt than to live not believing and finding out there is..but anyway to answer to the question I'd have to go w/ God..i just cant get w/ the science thing (i hate science anyway)
Very interesting topic.
I believe i will stand by the faith of God. There is no way that i can just believe that the world just came to be, without some type of powerful being. Scientifically, how did the world come about? How did the first human body just appear, and adapt to their surroundings so quickly?
Science can only go back so far, God does also, but i'd rather believe in God than a simple concept made up by humans, which we all know are not perfect.
I think Smart people believe in "God" for Dumb reasons.
People use the unexplianable to justify their faith in God. They would rather believe then die and find out they were wrong. When one looks at the Bible it is filled with holes and torn pages..
I know as a college student I wouldnt buy a Biology book with 2 or 3 chapters torn out and expect to do well in my class.
