Thing is, when we say, bring the **** towards a chicken and they know we're bout to cut its head off, the other chickens next to it can actually understand what the chicken is saying when it screams.
This is pretty much like that old saying:
"If a tree falls in the forest and no one is around to hear it, does it still make a sound?"
Exactly. There is this whole stigma around slavery, nothing was worse than it. In a human perspective, I suppose you are right. It is the worst act of human **** ever. I'm not saying slavery and animal cruelty are on equal levels, but they hit the same basis. Persecution. The two are in their own levels, and shouldn't be compared because the only thing they share are the horrid levels of persecution.
But life in general, all things are sacred and slavery is no worse than this. But that does NOT make it alright to compare.
