It's just to get people thinking. Some people believe that Satanism is the worshipping of the Anti-Christ and that the Gothic kids they see at school all hate God and Jesus. Not necessarily. They do not follow the opposite path of the bible, they follow the alternative. Reach your goals by force rather than wisdom. One no more right than the other.
Now I'll be the first to admit that I have fallen short of the glory sometimes but I definately am not satanic. I know where my help and strength comes from.
Most of us are Satanists by definition, does it have to do with man's actions, or government in general?
From most Christians' perspective, rejecting Christ is, by default, accepting Satan.
Whether you agree with that perspective or not is a personal choice.
If so, then it's similar to the Muslim concept of kaffirs (infidels, or nonbelievers). Those who reject God and salvation are also accepting Satan and eternal damnation.
I think that's different than those who claim to worship Satan... those who are seriously dedicated towards studying and serving him. In the same way a religious Christian would sacrifice his own needs to serve Christ, a Satanist would do the same to serve Satan.
Not being a Satanist or knowing any, I haven't heard their side of the story, but I'm sure there is one. Holla!
