Just_Because_I_Am

I know you may have had this topic before but i'm new to this posting thing and really wanted to know your opinion about my situation Quite a few of my family members are part of a specific sorority. They constantly ask every summer when am i going to make that step. I keep avoiding it because my interest has floated to another sorority. I've done my reseach on both and respect both organizations, but i want to go the opposite way and go with my heart and not with the family. Anywho, I found out through a friend that the sorority i would love to be a part of is not doing intake this semester  . Well the organization that my family members are a part of is having a Rush, but i really don't want to play myself and join something that i'm not feelin. Out of respect for the family should i go to the rush anyway or should i follow my heart? i'm really feeling bad about this cause my brother told i need to go to the rush. By the way, i'm a senior and we don't have spring lines, sooooo this is it. I did not proofread my post so forgive me for the mistakes.
