Thread dedicated to things you see at your school that you know you won't see anywhere else.....
for instance.....
In one of my classes.. there are more students than there are chairs... so people have to sit on the air conditioning unit....
5 years... hmmm thats not bad
my high school football team hadnt won a game in like 10 but they have won a couple this year
only at my school will you see different desk designs in the class room. One desk will be green, the next one will be wood, the next would be red, the next would be this huge black desk...
only at my school would u see teachers using long sheets of paper as blinds...
only at my school will u see a majority of the football players are in special edu (i kinda question that but they be good players though)
only at my school will you see a soda machine where none of the labels match what kinda drink actually comes out! It will say grape and you will get a Big K Diet Pop!
Only AT VCU:--->Your water to ur dorm and the stores underneath ur dorm will be cut off "till further notice" because the Richmond Dept of Blah Blah Blah broke a pipe in the street :x ..........
--->You have to dodge DEADLY pigeons & squirrels on the way to class--oh and not to mention RIchmond's infamous bums....
--->You hear gunshots near ur dorm at least every nite, and not a damn police is in sight (VCU or RIC), but let a Commons party get a lil out of hand-they have 6 cops from the RIC and VCU, the FBI, the SWAT team, the FIRE DEpt...up in there......

Like a group of white boys runnin in speedos ...PETA comin on campus THINKIN they can put that BS up-and havin all the black students run them out the same day....someone getting hit-on a bike.....a crackhead with a crowd around him-cuz he is freestyling (lol)....the news channel is always here, why is that? :???: ....
--->You have no football team....ur homecoming is in FEbruary(lol)...people dont even know we had a homecoming until when John Legend came last year (lol)....people stood in the longest line ever to get into Ram Madness (b-ball pep rally)-only to find out we got a free t-shirt and some free Bull sh*t!! they think the basketball players are gods....Yep thats good ol VCU....still wouldnt go anywhere else tho. :-D
yea sadly...its a high school
we're like one of the only Agricutural High Schools left in the US and u would think that the state would fund us some kinda money but they don't. We dont have buses to run to take the kids home. It's real sad. We had a 1.5 mill grant but honestly, I dont even know where that went. They say they did the roof over but it doesnt look like it. We dont have new computers (they are still running 95 and 98 in most classrooms and in the lab) We dont even have enough classes. I really think they are gonna end up closing my school in the next 10 years or maybe even less
even tho I go to community college...
u know u go to Tri-C when:
ur refund check is late
u catch the 14 or 15 bus to come to class
u go to school right across the street from the projects
u dont even know who the college president is
no one hangs in the student center unless there are promises of free food
damn I go to Tri-C (Cuyahoga Community College) cant wait to get to a REAL college!
