Clark Atlanta and Howard both have great Business programs, but I'm still unsure. Here's the deal.... I plan on moving to Atlanta regardless, even if I go to school somewhere else, so I was thinking CAU would be better, plus I could make contacts, but doesn't HU have a better rep? They're both 2nd tier.

no question....go to Howard. And i'm not just saying that becuz i go to HU (ok..maybe i am). HU's School of Business' rankings are very good for getting African Americans into grad and MBA programs as far as HBCUs are concerned. Not only that, but all students in the School of Business join "teams" their freshman year. Each business team is sponsored by a major business/corporation, and the team does a presentation for their sponsoring company. The companies provide gifts, presents, and sometimes even scholorships to the students. This opens the doorway to great networking abilities and connections. Not to mention our job/business fair that attract fortune 500 companies from all over, that come specifically to recruit African American students. So trust hun, regardless of if u plan on living in the ATL or not, if u network and stay on your grind, u will be straight no matter where u end up living.
Are those teams just for freshmen? I'm going to be a transfer student.
My friend was a sophomore when she was on a team because that is when she switched to the School of B, so as far as I know if you haven't taken Business Orientation (when you will be placed on teams) at Howard then you will have to take it before you graduate.
