Based off your post it doesn't seem to me that the fight was b/c one org thought they were better than the other.....it appeared to be a stupid fight over something trivial
Blame that situation partially on the advisors and the school's greek life coordinator. They should share calendars at the NPHC meetings, to cause as little conflict as possible.
This is not at all a campus event. On Tuesday Wednesday and Thursdays they throw parties at CLUBS. Recently the Sigma's added Twisted Tuesdays... The Kappa's originally had Wet Wednesdays.... and the Alpha's originally had Thirsty Thursdays.... Now the Alpha's have Go hard Wednesdays.... Thats how it all got started... but for everyones information... to my knowledge the Kappa's are not suspended, neither are the Alpha's. Oh yeah I'm sure the Alpha's knew that they had their parties on Wednesdays because there were a few times that they waltz they tails up in their and ahad a drink or two.
What people have to remember is that just because two people happen to be members of different organizations and they are involved in an altercation, PEOPLE will always see it as a greek conflict, when really, it just has to do with the two individuals disliking each other... I guess thats a problem with being greek.. whatever you do, you are representing your organization.. if you do something bad, so did your organization...

Doesn't have to be a campus event. It still has to be covered by the chapter/fraternity insurance, therefore it is noted and run past their advisor. If the NPHC had already provided a calendar stating that the Kappas have Wednesdays locked down, then the advisor simply didn't have to approve the event.

I see what you are saying but it's not even being held under their organization. For example the Alpha's are holding this club under "ice cold productions" And they hold it under something else for Wednesdays... the Sigma's are holding their Tuesday thing under N3 productions.... It's technically not involving the fraternity but everbody knows that the Alpha's are doing this, the Kappa's are doing this, the ques are doing this, the _______ is doing that. It's ways around stuff. Thats how I see it.

It's very possible that their promoters are insuring the parties. I pray no one gets hurt or **** during the parties. They could be looking down the barrel of suspension for skirting protocol, or even worse, a lawsuit.
I'm all for bending of rules, but you don't play when it comes to liability. I've seen a chapter sued when someone was hurt at an off-campus party. Dummies didn't seek insurance for the event, and the area director came down EXTREMELY **** the chapter.
Yeah people have gotten hurt in the past years... but it has nothing to do with the frat. The clubs are usually being looked at. Besides if people want to "ignant" and fight in the clubs or shoot outside the clubs then how is that the fraternities/sororities fault when in reality them fools was gonna act up if it was George Bush's party. It doesn't matter... well at least not here in Wilberforce, Ohio.
