I have enough brain-rot in my life already. If I need a fix that bad, I can go on-campus or to my parents' house. And there's always reruns. S**t, I've survived 20 years without a TV in my room, I'll make it a few more. smh...
Yeah, it really is that crucial. I haven't watched any TV since September except for a little of Carrie before Halloween. I've known all along that I had to be on-campus for the premiere. The Dark Tower Project is co-hosting a viewing party so you know I'm gonna be there (even though I have more important stuff to not be doing). I've downloaded every preview and trailer I could find, and I'll post all the links here in a minute. I was gonna take some of those cardboard ad thingies out of the MARTA trains to use as posters in my room, but they were all gone by Friday. I'd been trying to nab one since Monday and some stupid **** or top-flight security was always standing in front of them. :x

Wow.... This show sparked some crazy debates immediately after it was done. Some people STILL don't know how they feel about it. I have mixed feelings about it. It was a funny show (specially John Witherspoon and Charlie Murphy), but that last part struck a chord with me (which i'm sure McGruder was trying to do). I've been up on the comic for sometime now (since high school) and for a time I used to read it fatithfully so I'm very aware of Aaron's sense of humor and political commentary. I knew what to expect from them show but i'm still suprised he actually went some of the places he did. All i know is that this is going to end up being something big one way or another.

I don't see censorship in the future. You can say what you want after 11pm on subscriber airwaves (haven't heard "f**k" yet tho). Ever watch South Park, The Shield, or Rescue Me? Bet they would try and justify censoring this but not those "white" shows. Whites like when nijjaz talk about them... indirectly because there's bound to be plenty of badmouthing of blacks thrown in. Of course, it ain't cool. That's what Riley's character is for. This impressionable young mind watching all the ignorance on the tube and assimilating it into his every action and thought. It wouldn't be that big a deal if you just got over it, CP. **** do lots of strange shyt, like support Robert deRapist. Why pick one insignificant thing to bemoan?

i definitely have mixed feelings about the show. i love the comic strip and the show was funny, but i think it could be a little contreversial to some people.

Ok, who's the stupid ninja here, Riley or you? How many different languages do we have to tell you why Riley acts the way he does? Call it ignorance, call it stupidity, I don't care. But yes, that's why he is saying those things. It's not just about "supporting child molesters," it's about a whole mentality. Let me know if you would like to read some of the comics to understand this better. Girl, how did you get to college not knowing how to absorb simple information? I'm not gonna ignore you, but I'm done responding to your pointless comments about Riley. Save it for your real friends next Sunday!!
