Well goodness! I wanted to move to ATL. That's alwayz been where I wanted to go. But after hearing this story I'm scared as hell!!! LOL Moving from a small town to DC was bad. Errybody knows DC is bad....but now I'm wondering if ATL is worse! I could never imagine that going down here! But hey, this dude got robbed here for his hamburger. And they did shoot Cam'rom bout a month ago and tried to steal his car. And the bumz/crackheads are ridiculous. I DID get stuck in tha hood tha other week when a native refused to take me home! And it was like 80 **** outside wit gunz. I was scared as hell! I was thinkn bout coming to ATL REAL SOON. But girl u just scared tha hell outta me! LOL
oh my god, that so sounds like the dude in rainbows......if thats where u all were, yall shoulda knock the smack out of him, that dude either gives you a hard time or tries to push up on you.......i cant believe he actually put yall through all that
anyways please dont let that deter you from Spelman College.....you are right there are people around Atlanta that dont have contempt for Spelmanites but for the most part being in the ATL is the bizness, its all good......good luck with your application process and behalf on the Spelmanites I am so sorry u had to go through that.

Marchelle, choose the malls you go to based upon its surroundings. Atlanta is a wonderful place, but the malls are like the areas they are located in. Think about it, Perimeter Mall=nice mall=nice area. West End Mall=Hood=Hood **** Mall...easy...sorry that happened to you. But ish like that doesn't just happen in ATL, it's everywhere.

Hey girl its alright :-) ... I was actually in Atlanta to visit Spelman and attend a convention anyways but in our spare time we wanted to go to the mall and stuff lol ... you know how that goes lol but THE STORE WAS RAINBOW !!! and I do believe it was the same man that you mentioned! Our Taxi driver told us that he has been "known" to do that to College girls but that was really faulty and stuff because he took it too far lol but at least I learned a lesson the Lenox and the Peremeter were way better anyways lol but I LOVE ATLANTA !

Chris I was visiting Spelman and I was also attending a convention so I was alone lol my brother was back at home ahah and my other family memebers who live in Atlanta were at work and school around the same time I had decided to go to the mall l0l ... they did tell me not to go to the WestEnd mall though lol but I was being hard headed and a Hard head make a soft you know what so I guess I learned a good lesson lol

I knew it had to been dude up in Rainbows....girl he either gives u a hard time or tries to push up on u, me and my girl was up in there once after we first got to Spelman and he kept getting so close to me, he must know what brand and flavor gum i was chewing on....like i said yall should smacked the hell outta him or something
