I know I am quite knowledgable about black greek organizations (among other things). But when do you think a non-member has overstepped their boundaries. I've been to a web site that was composed of mainly west coast greeks and I know that many of the comments stated by non-members in this forum wouldn't fly over their (mine included). I just wanted to know, aside from perping, when do you think a non-greek has overstepped the boundaries?
The Basics that I know are:
:arrow: No perpin...pretending like you're a member or damn near pretending like you're a member
:arrow: No Calls
:arrow: No Hand Signs
:arrow: No joining along during strolls
:arrow: Stepping on plots (some places say its ok if you've been invited to do so...at HU its a No No)...ohhh I got a story bout that but that would be a tangent
:arrow: Shouting out what you want to be ...or are "GOING" to be
There are things that you don't do. That is simple. It is not for G.D.I's , but for greeks as well.
There is a level of respect that should be given when you show up with your letters to an event that you host or is being hosted by another oraginzation. We are not in gangs.
If you are bruh and you road tripping, you dont show up on the plot of a chapter that you don't know and just camp out like you were made there. That will get you wrecked.
If you are a G.D.I, don't go on some page and post that your are interested in joing a oraginzation. That gets you no place. Learn your role and be humble!!!!!!
I will leave like this, Everyone thinks about it. Many contemplate it. Some even try and meet the bruhs. However, few ever truly seek it !!!!!!!

This is true I have not achieved membership to KAY....but when I do if I do I will be a great member who doesnt join the organization to fit into a stereotype (cough * Que).......I am going to say this and I am finished with this topic.....I am very interested in KAY....as you all may know by now.....but I think its a shame that you have to be so secretive about stuff ( oh dont let him know cuz he going to get you)...that ish is lame.....I mean white frats do not act like this and thats why they are so successful, they post signs when they have official rushes so they can find the best canidates....we are too stuck on clic's and wanting to be over someone else....I truthfully want to join Kappa because I believe in its founding principles and goals....though many members have lost sight of that and merely use it for networking purposes....I am one of the most realest and sincerest brothas on here when it comes to pledging....I have nothing to hide about what I want to accomplish....I am going to be successful with KAY or without it.....Also lastly I respect old school alot more then I would ever respect new school because they understand the true reasons and callings of the frat....my Kappa friend told me this about the case because he knew I would be a great member of his frat , that would accomplish something great and not just wear some letters that anybody can buy. I think you out of all people have lost sight of what it means to be in a frat. All the woman in my family are members of AKA and they all understand that its not numbers that make the sorority its quality and thats why they are so selective.....the whole go get me a pizza thang is played ...I know you need to humble yourself but why not say ( I want you to tutor five black guys at that elementary school every week) but instead you say something as selfish as get a pizza......if KAY does represent actions such as this then I may want to consider period about pledging.....thats the problem with frats and sororities today....they miss out on alot of good members because of selfish demands and assumptions...... the Ques that have crossed at Howard in the past years have been garbage....the guys that have crossed dont do nothing, have never did anything and I guess its all about who you know....though a friend of mines who wanted to pledge Que they denied him.....though he just opened a non-profit organization for **** research, is a scholar, tutors youth kids, and also got hired to the biggest law firm in America( Nah playa you got it twisted)....I can say I got much respect for AphiA though at least at Howard because they just dont let in anybody like some frats. And they wonder why membership is dropping...because of people like you....at Howard slim to nobody want to pledge just because of the rep yours bro's have left....instead of checking me you need to check yourself and evaluate why you pledged for more reason then stepping..wearing colors and acting like a dog ( if I wanted to look like a buffon I would buy a Lakers jersey and wear a dog collar too)
