Immigrants do the jobs that no one else would do. I know I sure as hell wouldnt do the jobs that they do for the pay that they get...I have no problem with them, this is an immigrant nation...the only true natives are the Native Americans...
1. This country was built on immigration.
2. Every non-white group of people brought here to work was at once encouraged to leave once powerful whites no longer needed their services. Blacks were coaxed to go back to africa, Chinese were used then deported, Irish were used then discriminated against. Obviously people have been hiring these mexican immigrants to do some work.
3. They here now, and are apparently here to say, so might as well make them legal so they pay the same taxes as you for the same services they use. (kinda like the marijuana debate: gov. prolly would legalize it if they could tax it in some way)
I agree...and along with that, the Mexicans were the ones who originally lived in California, which is now the biggest state, and they were basically forced out. So we can't really be mad at them for coming back when they see opportunity here.
I don't think we can knock them for their move, and they have a completely different struggle.....our aim was never to become American citizens as you make it sound, Giniacuty. It wasn't like Africans said "heey....I wanna be an American citizen, but damn I gotta go through all the slavery and **** to achieve that." It wasn't our choice to be here anyway.
