Giniacuty_757, I agree with one thing that you said. "I PERSONALLY DONT BELIEVE THAT I CAN MAKE IT DAY BY DAY WITHOUT A HIGHER POWER", but in my opinion, God is that higher power, not the Bible. Just because I don't believe in the Bible, does not mean that I reject God. Also, I won't go as far as calling the Bible "God's word". Technically, its man's word. I just don't feel right stakin' my whole being on something that I don't understand or even know if its true. Until I can find a better understanding of the teachings within the book, I refuse to live my life by it. Its a personal choice, and I wouldn't expect a lot of ppl, especially devout Christians, Catholics, etc, to understand, but it is MY CHOICE. That whole "Leap of Faith" just don't cut it for me.

Actually to be more correct, God IS the word(John: 1-2). And another thing, the Bible is considered the God inspired word that man just so happened to write.

Great topic! Here's my list: ~ creation myth ~ Noah's ark ~ the devil ~ virgin birth ~ god's 360 attitude in the New Testament ~ water to wine ~ rising from the **** ~ the trinity (although this seems to be more interpretation than actual text) ...The list goes on for me.
