Hmm, it was interesting, in Raheem Devaughn's song "Breathe", he speaks of God as a woman:
"the Most High outdid herself when/she created you/and girl I am thankful/for how our love has bloomed"
Actually, if you've ever watched the motion picture "Dogma" you'd note that God was played, in fact, by a woman. Alanis Morrisette to be exact (AND she's Canadian).
