No, it should not take that long. However I have been hearing from a few alums that Howard is getting waaaay more Early Action applications than in years past so that might be what the hold up is. Did you send it US mail or did you complete your app via the Internet?

Did you send it regularly through the drop box or did you go to the post office and get it as priority or tracked and confirmed??? But like truth said the lady at undergrad admissions said they are recieving "thousands" of applications so maybe they just havent processed it yet.

Yeah I hear that... But I'm concerned because I requested my scores from ACT (10/2006) to be sent to Howard and Clark in September...and their Application Online status thing isn't showing up that they have received my ACT scores...

If both Howard and Clark havent received your scores, then maybe the ACT office is slow. If one school has your scores and the other does not, then that particular school that doesnt have them might be trippin...

See, I dont like that. I sent my application personally through the mail and made sure I got the confirmation to go with it. But here's what you can do...an application fee accompanies the application, correct? If your cashiers check, money order or credit card has the $45 application fee taken out of you bank account, THEN THEY GOT YOUR APPLICATION AND DON'T LET THEM OFF THE PHONE UNTIL THEY FIND IT! Real talk...

Personally, I would apply via internet. When you apply online, you can verify that the application was submitted/received. When you submit a hard copy, someone has to enter your data into the system, which could increase your application processing time.
