Congrats to the c/o '08...period...for choosing to go to college....cuz we know the alternatives! Congrats to everyone who got accepted into their top school!
Does anyone know if Howard randomly selects roommates for you, or do they have some sort of system that picks roomates based on compatibility? Or do they let you do that on your own?
From my understanding...
the roomates are selected at the housing dept. "discretion" there is a
room mate preference form....asks questions like.. "Do you snore" "Are you a night person?"
So i guess if you know that persons Name and Student ID you can request that person...

Your roomate is selected randomly.
Some people have friends who come to college with them and they choose to live together. Others want to meet and live with someone new, just to get to know someone who may be completely different from them.
Either way, you have options.

Thanks! I didnt have anybody in particular to room with, and I dont have a problem living with a stranger either. It is a plus to have a roommate preference form tho because neat-freaks and morning people will probably not wanna be in a room with me! lol
