I think something is wrong with Mariah's track. It sounds weird.
She wasn't really signing. From somebody who knows live audio there is no mic in the world that wouldn't pick up any live noise in the background. It was prerecorded.
there is no way in the world mariah pre recorded that. she was singing.

Mariah hasn't been nowhere Mariah standards lately. I'm still saying its prerecorded (part of it atleast). Might have been a rushed recording tho. I could be wrong but i know thats its almost impossible not to get background noise in a live setting and there were parts where her voice was completely dry unless somebody in the background was messing up on the mix. I just know in certain parts of her performance there were times that it sounded simliar to when Omarion or Ciara where up there.
oh yeah... whats really good with L-Boogie not performing this grand premiere they were talking about. I'mma have to ask Kenya what really went down later.
I thought the awards were just "okay" for me this year. I feel there was something missing. I liked last year's better.
Michelle, chile get ya coordination together. She was off at the beginning and the end. She didn't start steppin at the sametime, and at the end B and Kelly was standing on one side of their men, and she was on the other. Mama had me rollin crackin on her. "She always messin up shyt. 1st she fallin on stage, ain't got no damn coordination. Can't get nothing right." mama scurred me for a min and got krunk 8) And out of alllllllllllllll dem fine **** men in the audience to "Cater 2"..she gonna pick Magic?? come now..i'm still mad about that, but to each his own.

Yea, I know! I wanted to get at least one post in, but I was hoppin from this and the draft all night. Overall, this year had its highlights, and I laughed a few times. My favorite highlight would have to be Stevie Wonder dancin'. That completely caught me off guard. :lol:
For the intro that Will and Jada gave...bout this being an award show that is classy and up to par of other (White) award shows..they were right..it was classy and up to par w/ dem..and like them, it was boring..and juss..whack...
alotta lip-synching with performances that weren't hype at all...
Mariah needed a miracle...when she was done..everybody watchin in the room was like, "that's it?"..no cut into her up tempo song...oh well
Omarion can dance...we all know..but he wasn't impressive...
and Ciara...err...i think everybody was BEGGING Luda to come out...cuz her performance was so ****..sadly..*smh*..
but on a brighter note..John Legend and Stevie were wonderful...Gladys Knight proved she still has it...and the look on Terrance Howard's face was memorable...
still not enuff to make the nite good tho..oh well, maybe next year...BET awards (tho broadcasted from a sad a$$ channel)...got classier..but maybe they need a lil bit of that old ghetto flare to bring back that life to it...1
