IT was a sad day on Friday May 26th 2004 at 11am est.
I looked into my mail box and there was a letter from a very respected school in the Midwest. The Letter said that I had been accepted and that was all I needed to see.
I said well HBCU haven't done their Job and now It's time to fire them and let the Predominantly White Colleges do what they do best!!!
I gave Wilberforce a Try but they failed, mess up my Money, and won't call me back. I have to get a deferments on my loan because they didn't tell Sallie Mae I was in school . Drama that all that they have cause me!
They didn't have summer school. The dorms look like a prison.
So, I had to Jump ship and Next Fall I will be Attending Otterbein College in Westerville, Oh it a suburb of Columbus.
The bill is steep at $27,000 at year and about $700-$800 in books but I done my homework(this time) it's worth every penny.
I trying to go to GRAD School and If I would have stayed at the WU I wouldn't feel prepared.
Sad but the Truth!
I will miss some of my friends I told them they seemed sad but I told a few that I would visit them when school start back.

Just came back from the Otterbein. I know that I confused them I had on my laid back attire. When I worked in and told them my name they look like hmmmm. Then the women said your the one I talked to on the phone. I know I kind of surpised them them my appearance. I had on gray sweats and a red shirt and a red grayish red OHIO STATE HAT. I hadn't shaved rather trim up. But it was cool they respected me. I ask them not about Fin. Aid I said who do I need to talk with about my scholarships. She was like mmmmmmmmmmm DA. So, Tommorrow I have to call some women to GET MY MONEY. I just got some grant from something I don't remember doing I got like 5500. HMMM the things we forget.

just my opinion, so people dont get mad....if you transfering because of fin. aid and your parents make way too good money is a cop-out...hbcu are cheap thats why im transfering to one, i went to a privite pwi school for two years...it was cool but the reason i'm leaving it was close to home i want to go away for school, i want to experience black colleges to the max and grow with other black college people!!!this is my gut feeling, and my emotionally feeling, most people boo-woo about being in hbcu, remember life is not fair, holla!!!!!!

Good luck Prince....Otterbein is very racist; however..... It is a good school....
cosign! but i don't think wilberforce was a good choice in the 1st place. it's gettin just as bad as Central State. Ask a local...we know everything
