I'm speaking from observation rather than experience. I'm a human nature nut so I'm pretty observant when it comes to how people interact with each other in certain scenarios's. From what i've seen throughout my 2 years in the AU and my friends intimate relations with other friends, a "friends with benefits" relationship can only work if the two mutually plan on making progress in case/when feelings do occur. Sooner or later someone always catches feelings, its inevitable. If you just want a cut buddy and ya'll basically do everything couples do minus the commitment then 99/100 times it'll end up in disaster. Its rare for it to ever stay the way you want it. Personally, i say don't even go that route with a friend if no feelings are involved, i've seen quite a few friendships go because of that. You don't have to put a title on things but do expect some kind of emotional commitment sooner or later. I can say so much more in regards to this topic but i have a bad habit of getting carried away and writing dissertations on here lol.

From experience, when you are single, its the best thing since sliced bread. But once one of you gets whipped, the s*** hits the fan and the fun is out the door.

You can't have a friend w/ benefits, because it will eventually be messed up with emotions.

Ahhhh....HELL NO!!!! I had a few friends with benefits back in my singles days (damn that was just last year), but they always caught feelings for me. When I cut them off, they would call me up talkin about "how you just gonna drop me like I ain't shyt". "I was like, n!gga you was a cut buddy....... get over it and move on." Shyyyt, my current boyfriend now used to be my friend with benefits back when I was a lil youngin'. Then, he wanted to start fallen in luv on me and ****makin my life more complicated than it need to be. I'm happy with him now though......we got probs but hopefully we will work through them.
