yep. . . label me an elitist, I guess. And I don't agree with teaching high/middle schoolers how to party train. They can be on the step team, but I seen them cats party train before. Greek life ain't even special anymore. I don't think non-national, freshman or unofficial groups should enjoy the same privileges we have as greeks. That's what makes being greek unique and admired; that we can participate in and do somethings that normal students cannot.

I thought I already did a good job of explaining why I'm against non-pan hell orgs party training. If you want to serve the community then go do community service. If you want to emphasize brotherhood, then throw a cookout and drink beer. Leave the stepping traditions to us. Let the archonettes, junior steppers, sigma betas, etc have something to look forward to. My other reason is because people begin organizations so they won't have to submit themselves to a well established product. Being a rebel is one thing, but the true reason many of these groups begin frats, is because they are not eligible, or were denied access to a traditional group. Case in point, I have seen a fraternity spring up on a local campus, made up of rejects of other organizations. Most of the rejects didn't qualify academically, so they formed their own group. Within two years, that group, which admitted freshmen (while Pan-Hell groups had to wait for sophomores) became the largest greek lettered org on campus. All because some cats couldn't/wouldn't cut the mustard. As far as high schoolers "strolling" I'm against it; somethings should be left for college. That is my opinion.
Hmmm...What I am getting from you is that people that are not in the Pan-Hell greeks are rejects...First of all...My brothers are brilliant men that were wanted by many other greeks but they chose to become Deuces. My sisters were also wanted by many greeks and chose to be Sapphs. We felt were down for our cause which is doing what the original greeks set out to do...and now a days with all due respect to other greeks are not accomplishing. Today greeks usually become what they do because they want to wear the colors, or to get recognition. We are not about all that "glitz and glamour" with our positive image we recieve it though. And the product is not always well established with time....because sometimes newer can be better. I am not downing any organizations because I got mad love for them as people. I still don't understand why you hate so much on non-Pan-Hell organizations...what happened to you? And your saying we should not stroll? FORGET THAT! To me as i said earlier is to show the unity and just have a good time...okay...so i feel you on high schoolers but we are a collegiate organization...we are African American...We are gonna do our thing and we really dont care what people say. And by the way are you greek? And if so, what organization? I think that's all for now....

What's party train..if you are referrin to strolling them I'm one of the ones you're talkin bout. I was the Pres. of the Archonettes of the Mu Chi Zeta Graduate Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta INC! And we strolled right along wit the Zetas...they taught us alot of their steps and struts and even tha Sigmas showed us a couple...We were even shown the Sigma hop. I didn't find anything wrong wit it...it's kinda of like a preview of what to come if you were to join tha Frat or Sorority

This only reaffirms my belief that Previews should be reserved solely for movies.
