Do alot of you all go to weddings? If so
is it to witness the holy matrimony of two loving individuals
or is it to get a peep of whats on the meat market??
I've never been to one, but I hear that alot of single
women go there looking to catch the bouquet and
hookup with somebodi.
I've been to some weddings before. Most of them were SHOTGUN weddings though. I know yall know what them shotgun weddings are... you know...the gurl ends up pregnant and her parents want her to marry the **** that knocked her up! Well i've come to the conclusion that those marriages dont last very long at all. and if they do...there's sooo many problems!
Have yall seen that wedding show on TLC...its basically where a couple gets picked to have their whole wedding paid for. The only stipulation is that only the friends and family have to plan the wedding with like a $5000 budget. On top of that the bride cant see her dress until they put it on her moments before the ceremony. I like that show...but I could never do it. I dont care if someone else is paying for. Im having a say in how my wedding will be. Especially them picking out my dress without me being able to see it. Oh No....lol...I remember one time, the bride's mother and best friend got her a bikini to wear down the isle cause it had like a tropical theme. The wedding did. The woman started crying cause she was so disappointed.
^^^Sounds like a good idea if its free. I wouldn't too much care about the particulars though. (especially not as much as my 'wife' would) All I want is a cream Tux with crimson vest & tie and a crystal clear cane. Oh wait...I'm thinking of last years Krimson & Kream Ball again!! my badd :lol:
Well, I'm 18 and the majority of weddings that I have attended was back in da days when I was the flower girl. But this july I'll be attending my uncle's wedding. I'm not going their to seek out anyway (PLEASE... if anything they will seek me out (I'm old fashion like that)... but please believe that I will be looking good from head to toe, okay! :-) I'm going with the mindset of enjoying myself because I know it's going to be off da hook...
