i am an International Studies major and i have yet to pick my minor. I plan to become a lawyer and persue a career in either corporate law, foreign service, or entertainment law. I am also interested in joining the FBI.
But my main goal is to become somewhat like Dr. Condeleeza Rice. ( sorry if i mispelled it)
I want to be a Pharmacist... (The Legal Drug Dealers  )
It'll get me money pronto....
BUT WHAT I WOULD DO IF I COULD... I'd prolly be a record producer.. I have a good ear/eye for talent, I LUV MUSIC, and I have good business/industry connections..
Real Estate. Let me tell you why...
1. Real estate is one of the traditional ways to get wealthy in the US, along with manufacturing and banking. People will always need places to live. The amount of land in the world will never expand - it will only decrease in supply. So the value of land will ALWAYS appreciate.
2. Real estate investment has the highest return on equity over any other investment vehicle, provided that you invest wisely. This means that $500,000 invested in real estate will be worth more than $500,000 invested in stock market, commercial investments ie. mutuals & CD's, foreign exchange, commodities, and most other ways of investing with the possible exception of venture capital (starting a business). Real estate, however, is far less risky than funding a new business.
3. Real estate is one of the very very few businesses which can actually promote community development and regrowth.
4. Real estate is the only business that actually can ensure that people have safe, wholesome living environments.
5. Real estate is one of few industries with unlimited growth potential.
6. It is an industry where it is very easy to expand into other industries (retail, hospitality, sales). If I am developing a prime neighborhood, it becomes very easy to set up a business in that neighborhood at low cost and high strategic advantage.
7. It is one of few businesses that can provide residual income, along with sales and intellectual property (books, patents). Basically this means my work will provide continual returns once I am done with it. Years after I purchase or construct a building, I will be still seeing mortgage and rent checks.
There's more but I won't bore you. I seriously intend to become very wealthy within the next ten to fifteen years. Holla!
^^^ I heard thats where the money is!!
But my major is Music Engineering Technology but I might pick up a minor, English just because I have a passion for writing. I plan on opening up my own studio and producing hits that make you wanna dance in the club..or bob your head in the car. But until I get the means and ways I want to be an English teacher... prolly middle school, start em early on the write track.
