I want somebody to give me a reason for why i should beleive in God u see i am an aitheist that grew up in a conservitive christian enviorment and decided that god doesnt exist and ive been unable to meet anybody that can argue a good case for god that i cannot rebbuttle or disprove.
I want somebody to defend his/her faith

I don't know where to begin. I am not sure why you believe what you believe about God or whether you should believe in him. I have read the other commentary and they have said some of the same things that I would have said. As a christian, I could quote the bible and send you reading endless scripures but if you don'rt believe what you read about God, then that would be pointless too. God can not be comprehended by moral intellect. Science can try and come up with a million ways to validate their discoveries but the honest scientist will say that there are some things that have occured that science cannot take credit for. Before you rule out that there isn't a GOD, try studying all religions first. Please play close attention to how history and biblical events concur. Although documented history may have been altered due to translation, that does not change the fact that it occured. Nothing in life is a accident or happens by chance. If you are open minded enough for my challege, here it is: read the enire book of Revelations in the N.I.V version of the bible or which ever one is available to you but I would prefer you read the NIV version. Before you begin reading, do a prediction of what you think the book of Revelations will be about. Then grab a few history books( at least 3) and do a compare and contrast chart. Outline what the book of Revelations says and what you know as well as what the history books said has already occured. Make the outline as time line w/ dates and everything. When you finish reading Revelations, then write a conclusion and compare your prediction w/ your conclusion. When you have completed this challenge, privately write me and tell me what you have found.

In the end no one can give you a reason to believe in God. That's something that each person has to find within themselves. I believe in God, but I don't hold to any specific doctrine of faith. Do I know if there is a God for certain? No, that is what the meaning of FAITH is.
obviosly i cannot respond to all the questions that were asked by me seeing that i am the only one defending my position however i will respond to some
First of let me respond to innocence I dont have prove that GOd doesnt exist however i do have evidence that the bible is not literally true which means it is symbolic but unfortuantly that means that the bible is completely subjective to someones own personal beliefs and therefore is not definitive on any one subject therefore one can interpret the bible any way one wishes. which means that the bible is not sayin anything at all because i am able to make it say anything i wish it too. Having said that i will say that most people's belief in god is based on the bible which as i said before doesnt actually definitely say anything at all which is why the bible isnt a source of evidence or prove for gods existence also i have no other evidence that god does exist either. ALso i do not have any evidence that aliens are NOT controlling my mind from the planet xenon in the 18th galaxy but i also do not have any evidence that they are either. so i do not beleive that aliens are controlling my mind even though i cant prove they are not but i cannot give evidence that they ARE.
Follow where i am going. I am just sayin that just because something can exist doenst mean that it does.
Having said that i will say that i dont have a direct reason for trying to disprove god i have no problem with people who do beleive in him or her(my litte joke). I do have a problem when people trying to force me too also and force their moral code upon me without justification why their moral code supersedes my own. All i am trying to do is have people think about what they beleive and open their minds up to the possiblity that people who dont beleive what they do might have as strong or stronger a reason to beleive it than them.

Reading what u have said shows me that u have spent ur live in a consertive enviroment like i had and u beleive the lies that were told to u that science has no evidence for evolution but their is evidence for biblical events. I will also say that the bible does not predict historacal events because people read the bible before many of these events took place and yet nobody knew about them. If the bible predicted these events somebody would know about them before they happened but people seem to only say the bible predicted an event after the event already has taken place which goes back to the fact that u can make the bible say just about anything that u want it to.

Heres another little tidbit of information the fact that denmeri said that somebody had to create the universe and god must have done it is flawed do to the fact it raises the question of who created god and if u beleive that god always existed and nobody created him why cant u beleive that nobody created the universe

But the bible is a history book and just like we are taught history in school it is studied so that we do not make the same mistakes. just like our history books, the bible is completely factual. and if you wanna say that we all interpret the bible differently, and that's why it's not true; that's completely false. in our history book when the story has a moral, and you have to answer those chapter questions called critical thinking, I'm sure your answer was different from billy bob and betty ****'s; that did not mean that the history book was wrong it just meant that you learned a little something different that billy bob or betty ****. And i think it was 313 girl who said something about how evolution is not accurate, or something like that; that's correct. Evolution has NEVER proven. all scientist know that. and the big **** theory is the bigest crap in the book of evolution. it defies science. but HOLLER...back homie

First of the bible is not completely factual it says that the earth was created in seven days and that human being were created from the dust after all the animals were created
But their is extremely large amount of data from hundreds of different scientific sources that gives evidence to the "theory" of evolution and that human beings evolved like all other animals and plants and all other life upon earth did
Obviously u did not read the articles that i linked too or maybe u didnt understand them. before u say evolution has no scientific evidence behind it please actually read something written by "actual" scientist not something that was just said by your pastor or your friends
Of what i beleive i believe that the universe we know of started in the big **** and then stars and star systems began to coallense because of gravity and then after that planets and then on a certain planet called planet earth their were just the right ingredients for the start of life then this life contiually evolved for about 3 billion years and now it is what u see today
U also said that history books have a moral but unfortuantly if it is a history book it is supposed to be unbiased and nonjudgemental and therefor cannot give u a moral for stories so i would please like a copy of the history books u are reading so that i can report them to the school board for their inaccuracies
