ay i'll b holdin it down at CAU n tha fall and i just went to our orientation. It was sooooo crunk. The OGz (orientation guides) had so much energy and love for tha school that it couldn't help but rub off on us. it really set the tone for us on what we needed to live up to when school actually started. it also gave us an opportunity to start meeting a lot of new friends.
i want to know how orientation was at other schools? do ya'll feel that it's an important step to start making the transition from high school to college? any other thoughts??
i shouldve been on the rode driving back home for 8 hrs but NO! im standing in line with about 400 kids tryna register for classes
thats ironic cuz comin back from CAU's orientation i saw my friend in the ATL airport on her way home from FAMU. she said folx was missin flights and tha school wasn't even caring. that's messed up. i think CAU figured most of our scheduals would change anyway so they mainly only handled changes in majors.
YUP! folks hard 12:00 pm flights and they had to stay...i was talking to this one dude from texas and he was like he had a flight to catch at 3....he was number 367..i was like 205 and by 2 i still wasnt in there getting my classes together...i cant imagine how long he was there :? and those advisors left for lunch  black folks i tell ya!!!!!
