Hey I can relate to you some....campus life does get a little better during the fall because they tend to have more parties. But a lot of times you have to create your own fun. Of course coming from up North or from a big city it's going to be boring. I don't know from personal expericence but because my best friend happened to be from New York. I know it **** that you can't have a car your freshmen or sophmore year, but u can always work around that one. Try to befriend upper classmen so that you can get a ride to Norfolk, because the mall downtown is nice....there is three levels. Plus there is Va beach, Bush Garden's, and Kings Dominion which isn't too far....it's all about connections and finding means of transportation. During the regular school year especially in the fall there are football games and stuff. For some people after a while it kind of grows on you and then for some other people it just isn't for them.
The cafe food...*laughs* There isn't anything positive I can say about that..I know I avoided the cafe a many of days...
oh heck naw that's what i do now chill at wal-mart errday i knew you couldn't have a car freshman year but sophmore too? what's really good?
If you live on campus soph year no you can't have a car. I lived. I mean I lived without having my own car the majority of my life what's different about not having it for 2 more years in college.
Yea Yea Yea to you all who holdin it down for your school. I feel yall rep where yall at and rep where yall going. Education is all good thats hwy i came but c'mon Pre-College has to be the most unorganized program i have ever attended. They definatly aint treating many of these well deserving young adults like adults. it seems as if administration can't make their minds up on events. But one thing i feel is their hustle
Kings Dominion never heard of it or seen it but all I know that is they got these kids paying what is it $25 $30 for a trip and on top off that they got them buying t-shirts costing $12 or $15?!! LOL wow what are they dogs. C'mon. But we got a week left so im heading out.

Maybe u werent ready to off to college and A D J U S T....everything is not going to work smoothly and at the pace that u think it should be......and thats no matter where u go....Hampton, Howard, a PWI-wherever. And KD is an amusement park, if u went u probably would have liked it.....oh...but oops-VA is wayyy to boring for you. If you really checked out the location and found our about Hampton before u attended....what is the problem? I m sure u saw that Hampton is not a very big bustling city.....*smh*-but big ups to whatever u do with ur life :?
PRE-College is not suppose to be fun, it is a time for you to adjust to the campus and get you skills you need for your fall semester classes, i went to Morgan pre college before i started it was jive boring but i met plenty of friends and became adjusted to the campus more easier than what it would have been if i was not there
if there were parties and everything during Pre-College a lot of people would fail out and not even be elegible to start in the fall, then students parents and you would blame it on to many activities for the summer, if you just chill everything will be cool
^^yeah that's why you visit the campus to make sure it's for you, i live in a small town now, but i still want to go to Hampton. I'm visiting sometime before Christmas.
