What do you do about persistent interestees? Posted on 07-14-2004

A soror of mine from another school complains about how this group of interested girls keep doing things for them and buying stuff in order to get my sorors to like them. She is worried that these girls will get them in trouble for making it appear as though they are pledging. She has complained to her advisor and they have even told the girls to stop. But one of the girls has been rejected twice and will graduate next May, so it is her last chance to pledge undergrad. She has stated that if she doesn't make that line, then the line won't cross. Those are some big words. How do you, as in those in BGLOs, think this situation should be handled. I know what they are doing to handle it, but I am interested in knowing how others, in BGLOs, would handle this situation.

I swear to you, the entire point of a Gospel Choir process is to get you closer to the LORD.. cuz TRUST, WE definitely PRAYED... I know our process was nuthin like a Greek one, but it was ridiculous... Thats why I hate/Love Howard.. We are the King of Processes...(shoot.. we process to get our validation stickers... Administration: Okay now, people... Go get some cambodian breastmilk from Texas and mix it with wild cherries... Proceed to freeze it and give it to me in 20 minutes.. Remember, it's voluntary... Freshman #1: All that for a Validation sticker? I ain't doing that shyt!! You ain't my momma... Upperclassman: Yeah.. question her ****, then you won't be able to do ****at this campus... **mumbles: Dumba$$ freshmen ask to many questions**.. All honorable Administration Attendant, this humble student would like to know if you would like sugar in your cambodian breastmilk surprise? LoL..It may be funny to you, but I'm so SINCERE ... Crazee ****be going down for random a$$ processes...
This is sooooo true at Howard. Errrthing has a process. Hell, I remember when I wanted housing sophomore year I had to go to DC from my home in New York for like 2 weeks straight, back and forth and sit in the housing office from like 10 to 5, hoping someone would care. I remember one time I almost had to sleep in a classroom. I told the people in the housing office that I was sleeping in my friend's car while I was in DC and they didn't bat an eye. But anyway, I digress...

im not greek, but i got some experience in the field of initiating people (marching band stuff) and although its not like theyre out gettin us gifts and stuff... wed have those people thatll come to me and be startin their sentences like "When I'm a M.A.R.C.H.I.N.G. P.I.R.A.T.E. , ill be the best stroller" or something like that... my solution: make them prove it the hard way... MUAH HAHAHAAHAHAHAAHAAAAA!!!!!!!
