Do you cheat on your significant other? Posted on 07-19-2004
Kool 2k6

Do you cheat on your girl/man? If so, what measures have you went through in order to keep your significant other from finding out? What is your overall view on cheating? I dont cheat, and I feel like if you gotta cheat, why waste your time? Cheaters are either greedy, or not satisfied. Men used to be the dominant force when it came to cheating on the women, but since it's so difficult to satisfy a woman, (and since women can sometimes be greedy), women are being accused of cheating more than ever. I would like for everyone (especially the women) to get involved in this one (which is why this post is in the Yard).

It takes too much time and energy to cheat. If you are really that tempted, you first need to chill out for a minute and think. But since cheating is usually a spur of the moment thing... I guess they don't have much time to sit and .....think.. OFF TOPIC: But going on what ProAKAtive mentioned, I think its liberating as hell not to label a relationship. It relieves all that damn pressure that comes with the words girlfriend/boyfreind. The damn word starts to take over whats really important and that is the bond you two have. Sometimes labeling ****makes people lose they mind. I sho nuff lost mines and in the process lost my boyfreind...got him back...but that's not the point...

early in the relationship i kissed another guy (which i define as cheating) , i think that is one of the dumbest moves i have ever made. I sat there tryin to play the **** when guys did it to me and then i did it to someone that actually and truly loved me back. I'm one lucky girl, b/c after my man found out, of course he got mad and thru some fits, but he tol me he loved me too much to let some **** come between what we have and that we are goin to work thru it and stay together. We are stronger than ever, we are still working thru things but i have learned my lesson. Ladies, when u got a good man dont be dumb...let him love u and keep his ****!

I've never cheated on any of my significant others. I am a firm believer in KARMA. I have seen first-hand how karma comes back to bite one in the ****! Plus I know the feeling of being cheated on, it's a terrible feeling and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. I love myself enough to stop dealing with cheating men right when I find out. I don't care what the reason/rationale was behind the cheating, I just want him gone so I can move on to the next. Females are sometimes way too forgiving; I know very few men who'll tolerate a cheating woman. The only karma I like is GOOD karma; therefore, I always try my best to treat the one I'm with with the utmost respect and sincerity, knowing that someday it'll be returned to me 10 fold 8) How you treat people always comes back to you: if you do right by them, you'll get the same someday in return. If you don't do right by somebody, well, yall know the rest...

I am single now. I never have cheated in the past, also because I believe in karma and I just don't agree with it. But if I were to cheat, I definitely would not admit it on a internet message board such as this. I always say that I will NEVER cheat on whatever girl I am with, but I just wonder if I can keep that mindset forever. I have never had any serious temptation while I had a girl, so I just wonder how strong I'd be if the time actually came.
