I started thinking about this a minute ago...
I got **** whoopins when I was younger with a belt. I started to think about why. The obvious answer was because maybe my parents got their **** whooped too. So then I thought maybe if you take this back far enough you get to slavery days where this was used as a tool to keep one in line.
Is it possible that blacks use this form of discipline because it was seen as effective from slavery?

Those parents that you know want to beat they're childs **** but they can't because they are on the Metro or in some public place where they are likely to get reported.

Some of the most famous "walks of shame" occur in church....you feel a little pitiful when you see the kid getting hauled down the aisle straight to the bathroom. I'm telling you...whippings and abuse are two different things. I'm convinced that those who were whipped are usually gonna turn out right. Now abuse just makes em crazy and cut their parents up in little pieces and put them in the freezer.
You gotta beat them because you love them...a phrase I didn't understand till I got older.

...they really do pay off, but I doubt Im going to whoop my kids because that ****use to hurt. Now, do I think that beatings are the best way to discipline a child? NO, but hey, its helps a lil. LIVING EXAMPLE!

I think my mom beat me for the dumbest reasons....I lost a $42 sweater...OK who pays $42 to give to a 6 year old to take to school...she shoulda been whipped.
I think my whippins are gonna be few and far between but just enough to keep them in line.

****...My mom use to whoop me everytime my lil brother put his shoe on the wrong foot. She thought it was my responsibility to make sure he learn which foot goes in which shoe. Mayne I use to be so mad at her about that. Until this day I still dont understand how that was my responsibility.

my father was telling me a story about a friend of his who lost her kids because a neighbor claimed she was beating her kids...Now when she went to court and bla bla bla...the kids claimed SHE WAS beating them...this heff is gonna yell out "BOY IMA BEAT YA ****" in the court room, in front of everyone....This lady is still tryna get her kids back till this DAY! :roll: :lol:
