^^^Thank you. Hell Nicole Kidman did it in Eyes Wide Shut and no one can deny that she is a good actress. Getting away from the "regular" roles and playing something outside the box is what makes a good actress and separates you from the others. As far as range goes, Halle has it plain and simply put.

I like Halle because she touched my head before!!! Ya'll remember that epsiode of Sesame Street right?? If not, your younger sibling do!!! Oh!!! Halle, those buttermilk hands dazzled me!!!! And your legs!!! Oh they were so sweet!! If only I was a few inches taller, and my skin was darker, and I looked like Oprah! I would have asked you on a date

Think about it. In the movie What's Love go to Do With It she was young in the beginning and older in the end, she just have that face that you can make look young or old, when casting they look at this especially when it's a coming of age story. But on the other hand Halle has did well in a variety of roles she went from a **** in Jungle Fever to The Rich Man's Wife to Dorthy Dandridge if that's not talent I don't know what is. I got to give both of them props because they are both talented as hell, but I think Halle can do well in various roles where as Angela is almost always playing more dramatic roles.

I'll have to go with Angela on this one. She and Halle are both outstanding actresses, but Angela is the actress I admire more because of her talent. Don't get me wrong; Halle has talent, too. But I'm sticking with Angela.

now everyone please read this: the reason i made this post was not out of competition but because there will possibly be a great event to take place that could further our role in hollywood, there is talk of there being a movie that would follow try to follow the fabled life of nephertiti, the famous black egyptian queen...this movie would basically be the first real black epic in movie history, with a full black lead cast...even peter jackson and steven spielberg has said they may try to bid to direct it, if this movie comes into play,....now this is just talk right now, but this would be a major event to say we would finally have a blockbuster to bring in maybe billions of dollars like lord of the rings lol...but the 2 main people who everyone wants to play her are angela or halle, thats the official buzz in hollywood lol...remember whoever plays her will change history and will possibly pickup an oscar maybe

Well I honestly see Halle being out longer than Angela...but Agela Bassett has played some roles that NOBODY and I mean nobody could play as well a she has played them...I mean, Angela knows how to play the battered and mistreated wife roll to the tee....1) Tina Turner in Whats Love Got to do with It. 2) Bernadine in Waiting to Exhale 3) Katie Jackson in The Jacksons: An American Dream, but just overall I think Angela just plays those roles that can never be played as good by any other actress. But like I said, I see Halle having the longevity that Angela doesnt have.
