I know they are a lot of hair post but think about it, hair Is an important issue to Black women. But my question is, how often do you wash you hair? This has been a controversial subject for us Black women for many years but how often do you truly feel we as as sistas should wash our hair.
My mom use to say "Stop, washing you hair so damn much, you ain't White!" HEaven knows I don't want to be white but I just couldn't stand my hair to be dirty.
Now I know it is out of the question to wash it everyday, unless you got that "other" kinda hair. But I feel the need to wash mine every week. I hate when my hair starts to overly smell like hair products and feels heavy.
Any imput sistas.

Becuz of it's thickness, it's too time consuming to too big of a process to do on a regular on my own. Secondly, washing my hair that often would cause too much breakage. I don't put heavy gel or too many products in my hair other than Organic Root Stimulator and things that help condition it. The natural oils that black hair generates was designed to keep it healthy. Washing it too often dries it out and leads to breakage becuz of all the combing and detangling. I mean, everyone's hair is different, but unless i'm going to a shop on a regular (which i don't cuz i'm a poor college student), i don't wash it too often.
