I listen to alot of rock and alternative I dont like hardcore stuff like Metallica but I like alot of the commercial stuff. Im Evanessence, Maroon 5, and some other groups.
Blacks invented all music so I feel we can listen to any type of music we please.
Although I'm not a rock fan I do like No Doubt and FeFe Dobson. I used to like Creed too.
yep sad to say we also invented country music lol...but yall know that was just a result of us black cowboys smoking tooooo much on the indian peace pipe...pure accident :lol:

There's Derek McKenzie in the band Jamiroquai. That's more funk though. Like half of The Dave Matthews Band is black, but he is kinda from South Africa. Lenny Kravitz of course. His drummer... um, what's that chick's name. :? A lot of people don't know that Phil Lynott (the lead singer for Thin Lizzy... they're the group that sang "The Boys ARe Back In Town") was black. There was a heavy meatl band back in the early 80s called Mother's Finest. Dennis Chambers (a drummer) does a lot of sessions with rock bands. Umm... there's plenty more, I just gotta think of them... :roll:
