Remember when we used to make tose keychains (out of the plastic string), those heavy combat boots with the long short jumpers (when immature and jodeci was out) spraypainted jean jumpers and jackets with one strap hanging off, fila sweatsuits, a million ponytails and bows in your head like da brat, hde and go get it, hot peas and butter (game), everybody had a club with a bootleg clubhouse, those silver clips, butterfly clips, twists, donuts made with the sock, fans, black eyeliner and shiny lip gloss, nails u bought from walmart annd tried to do yourself, blue nail polish, you and all of your friends used to dress alike when u went out. When buns were in style. Cartoon character outfits. Dresses made out of stretchy flowery material. Boss, Cross Colours, Tommy Hilfiger, scooter skorts. Giga Pets. When we used to go to the candy lady house i could go on for days but i am going to stop here for now

Remember the "dollar" foodstamps? My auntie would give us like a dollar foodstamp and we go buy the cheapest thang just to get some change back. (Now they have cards, right?) Man, ya'll though we might have been a little country and po', I had so much fun as a child!! Remember Hide N Go Seek, Mother May I, Red Light Green Light, Cartoon Freeze Tag, and double dutch? Remember getting your hair braided?? And most of the time your mama put silver beads on the ends...Those were the days...
