Would you agree to go out on a date, with a person you have NO interest in, just to have something to do? ETA: Some specific parameters. We are not talking about friends. We are not talking about someone you are cool with. No, Zero, Nil, Zilch interest.

No because I don't want to mislead him. I can tell him that I don't feel for him all I want but if I agree to a date, then that sends the message that something has changed. I can treat my ownself to dinner and a movie.

I don't see a problem with just going out to have a good time. You never know, you may end up with more than just a free meal.
Do you generally have a good time with people you have no interest in?
It's not like you're trying to hook up with or holla at every person you come in contact with. Cool people are cool people, simple as that.
You did read where I mentioned no interest right?

I guess we think of "no interest" in a different way. I guess ya'll are saying the person is **** **** **** out **** with no character and you're not interested in even KNOWING them. I see it like this, you can know someone but not be interested in them like that, ya dig? You can be cool with someone and not be interested in them (that is, not interested in dating them).

I said NO interest. Being "cool" means that you share SOME interest with them. That interest may not be in them but in something that the two of you can talk about or do together. The NO interest I am speaking of means that you, for whatever reason, have NO interest in this person or their interests.
