^^Cosigns. Yeah he's really just a symbol for people more than anything. Catholics were taught, at least how i grew up, that the **** has infallibility, which means that whatever he says is what God is saying through him, as a messenger of God, and basically infallibility means that he cannot be wrong. Yeah its a little extreme :-) , but that's how most Catholics in the world view him.
