What yall think about it? Can it happen, has it happened. Whats your take on it.
I personally think it's "possible", but extremely rare. I think lust at first sight is what people usually confuse for love.
I have to get technical with this one. It is a bad habit sometimes.
love=have a great affection or liking for; a strong positive emotion of regard and affection; get pleasure from.
So by definition, love at first sight can be possible, but it can also be impossible. The hopeless romantic side of me says it is possible to see someone and feel that there is somehing about them that you genuinely admire. You can have strong feelings for that person and not know why they are there. The person's demeanor can sometimes be enough to draw you in so much that you wouldn't want to focus on anyone else.
The pratical side of me says there is no way that people can actually fall in love without getting to know each other. In order for you to have a feeling of affection toward another person, you must get to know that person. It is something that takes time. What you see at first may not be what you fully get with that pesron. You could actually be infatuated with a false image.
Imma stick to the practical me for now.

Good points.
Keep em coming, yall.
Yeah. I like how u kept both options open with that one. Saying that you personally don't believe in it right now, but explaining that you're not completely **** it out.
I also agree with this to an extent, but I think that you can have that initial feeling that tells you that the person whom you're fond of may be someone special in your life in the future.
So when people say, "I've loved you from the first time I saw you." Do you actually buy and/or believe that?
Yes. Your emotions can feel something that you're mind can't yet comprehend. The emotions are faster than your brain, and sometimes you're brain has to play catch-up. So when you finally realize that you were in love with someone, you also realize that you've ALWAYS felt that way about the person....you just didn't know it until it 'hit you'.
*stands up and applauds*
damn that was really good...
*looks around for a pen*
^^cosigns, I couldn't agree with you more, it makes perfect sense in my mind.
First, i would like to say that feelings and emotions doesn't equal LOVE. Secondly, i think people are just reacting off initial attraction and thats it. I've even heard some people say that God, told them who their mates were. And i actually do believe that God will lead you to the right one for you.But that still doesnt mean that they will love each other at first sight. It just doesn't make sense to me...There wouldn't even be a reason for them to court.
Also, there is a difference between loving someone and being in love. I love my family and friends and even people i don't know, such as you guys. Being/falling in love, is a process that takes time. You have to learn how to love that person ...even their faults.
I dont think its possible...not at first sight...I mean I think there are cases where you can genuinely fall in love with someone right away...but not at first sight...I have this belief mainly because how can you love some at first sight??? What do you know about them to love. If all you see is their face and have never even held a conversation with them, how is that you have fallen in love with them? You dont know their character, personality, likes, dislikes, etc....so what possibly do you LOVE about them? Hopefully that makes sense?
