If You Didn't Need College Posted on 04-16-2005

Many of us, including myself, are in college because you feel like it's something you have to do especially in order to keep up with the rest of society. But seriously and honestly, what you rather be doing with your life at this point and if college wasn't such a big deal and you really didn't need it? I would have went to barber school and started saving up for my own shop.

If I did not go to college, I would open a natural hair care salon.

ya know ive never really thought about it. College just seemed to be the next step, i've looked forward to it since i could remember. I gues tats b/c i've grown up in the ghetto(shootouts, ****, babies walkin round un attended w/ 2 day old papmers on ghetto) and i've never seen myself as being just someones baby mamma on welfare and foodstamps. I've always wanted more for myself and the only way i could see myself getting that was by futhering my education. So not going to college has never been a factor for me.
