Ladies, would you date someone younger than you? Why or why not? And PLEASE, don't say "because younger guys are immature", because just because he is younger doesn't automatically mean he's immature.
I don't discriminate. If there is a connection there, we click, and i feel like his personality meshes well with mine...i just might give it a shot. Besides, ain't nothin wrong with a fresh young tenderonie. Might as well start whippin em into shape early. Like the scripture says "raise up a child in the way which he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it" . Ok...i'm song wrong for bringin the Bible into this. Imma stop now.
I only really see a problem coming in if he is significantly younger. We may not be able to relate on certain social issues, seeing how i'm in college, and he might be in highschool. I'm gonna be talking about greek life, professors, and future career options and he'll be focusing on SATs, prom, and whateva else peeps worry about in highschool (cuz i really don't remember ).
:grin: funny....On a serious note tho, being older, you can really influence who your with especially when they are younger. The younger you are the more you open minded you are, and when influence comes in the form of a older woman who's more experienced some dudes would be easily shaped. Same with women. Hmmmm. I just said somethin that made me think.

But then what happens if there's too much influence? i most definitely dont want a 'yes' man. Especially in a females case. SOME young females lose their minds and their identity once they get jus a lil' influence on them. thas jus not cool man!
I would not go out with a younger unless he was very mature. I normally would go back a year but I have had experiences with guys that were younger than me and they were immature when it came to see things a certain way. :x I stick with guys a few years older on the norm because that seems like what commes my way. I am very mature and to me the guys that are older may be more on my level. I know there are some guys that are younger than me that are mature but they surely aren't around me. Overall I perfer older guys because they understand me more and can relate to certain things on a mature status.
Younger guys are ok, for me personally I have talked to 2 guys younger than me no more than 2 years and they were alright, but keep in mind that just because you have been there and done that or you want to be settled, for them they are just getting started esp. in college. And ladies you know how it is when you get that man, all the ladies seem to want him then!!

SWEETIE I AM ONLY 20 AND EVERY GUY THAT I HAVE DATED HAS BEEN AT LEAST 2YRS OLDER THAN ME. AND SOORY TO SAY THAT IT HAS A LOT TO DO WITH THE MATURITY LEVEL OF GUYS YOUNGER TO MEET. DON'T GET ME WRONG SOME GUYS ARE MATURE FOR THERE AGE BUT A LOT OF THEM ARE NOT. i dont have a problem with dating a younger man. I just dont think i would take as much from a younger man than i would from an older one. One slip up from the younger man would be considered immature. I dont know i think i would just scrutinize a younger man more than i younger one. But i'm all for new things
