I've wanted to be apart of a certain Black frat and have my goals set on it but the only thing is i currently have a 2.2 but with freshman forgivness taking my worst grade away and summer school grads i should have about a 2.5 overall gpa.
i saw that some frats require a certain gpa what is the gpa for your frat and do you think that they will check?
I must agree with Kenya. You should really listen to what everyone is telling you. The truth is Greek Organizations are not just looking for people with a minimum, they want people that are above and beyond. Everyone is telling you to basically get your grades in order to avoid being passed up. Do you participate in any extracurricular activities? What's your community service looking like? Do you honestly feel you're worth the time of the organization that you're trying to pledge?
Absolutely DSTined. I'm in BUS (Black United Students), NAACP board, College Business Associates, and I work at the busiest place on campus 40 hours a week during school so I am seen everywhere. If someone doesn't know who I am, they know of me. I am always out there.
That brings me to another point. I work at college, with full time hours weekly. people dont know why I work but for all you know, its to pay for tutition. obviously assuming is done very regularly on this board. but if that what makes people feel like they're better, then they can go ahead, because it just makes them look like idiots.

see what happens when you try to help people? lol no 1 on the net has 2 play u, im sure that with that MOUTH of yours you will get YOUR SELF played by the KAPPAS within that chapter that you want to join so bad lol. like i said learn to shut ya mouth! cause it will only make things worse for you. o and by the way...word to the wise...although greek life is huge it isnt hard to pass information along...so keep that in mind...its a small world and anything that u do or say ANYWHERE can be held against you and keep you out of becoming greek.
