I don't see any reason why you shouldn't especially if your doesn't become damaged very easily from wigs and braids. I guess it's all about maintenence. It's kinda the same process since you'll be actually cutting the perm out.(I guess that's what you're saying) But as long as you maintain your hair by keeping it washed, deep-conditioned, and keep some type of **** in your hair so it won't dry out in between the braids I think it will grow out fine. Also I'm thinking you should also try braid-outs/twist outs in between just to let your hair breathe a little before getting the braids put back in. Just a suggestion I want some **** twists cause I'm tired of combing my own.
