I'm part of the forehead club to girl. Thanks to my no good **** daddy. That's why I don't get cornrows cause I just feel like people can see what I'm thinking.
****. I don't mess with cornrows either. But like some people said, braids have never really been out. I get my hair braided for the summer and into the first semester of the school year. Right now I have individual braids with straight ends. Then I usually take them out when it gets cold and just wear my hair in the winter and spring. But my favorites are micros, **** twist, and I like the way those fishbone braids look.

i love braids. my hair is in micros right now. my favorite style is the pixie bob. i usually get that and everybody always complements me with that style. im not too fond of cornrows. they don't last long and i get tired of them real quick. i prefer to go to africans too. they're dependable... i wont be there for 2 days and i know my hair will be on point when they're done. i don't know what imma do when i get to school tho... cash will be kinda tight

my sis owns her own natural hair salon where they do braids too (she cant braid a lick) so I'd get someone frm her shop to braid my hair for about 60-80 dollas compared to 200 frm the Africans. But i like micros u can still style ur hair the way u want w/ them

I like braids, I don't wear them that often but when I do I always go the Africans. I get micro braids or cornrows and I never paid over like eighty dollars.

Umm I don't really know the names of the dfferent types, I just know how they look (if that sounds right). I will say tho that I wouldn't have ever imagined in my wildest dreams that those braids Brandy had when Moesha started comin on would ever be seen again. Then I went to VA and was shocked to see people still rock those. I was kind of thinkin damn those were easier to deal with, because lord knows I can't sit in one spot for too long. That's why I hate gettin braids, before your hair is done your **** always goes numb. To this day I can't take a class longer than an hour and a half, unless it's lab.

braids have always been in style... for like the longest time (ever since the 18 yrs. that I've been alive... lol) there are so many different, textures, sizes, & styles.. and so easier (at times) to manage... that I don't think that it could ever go out of style

they went out of style for me. I've been in braids since freshman year, it was time for a change. But they are gain popularity again, I'm seeing more girls on campus with cornrows and a pony tail.
