There are about 22 black students out of 360. I wish I could say the black students at my school hold it down. You would think that because there are so few of us here that we would all stick together and chill together, but that’s not the case. There is no unity. For the most part we are all cordial but we don’t really hang out. All the guys are cool with each other but the girls dog each other out.

thats sad to hear. We of course have our little groups we hang out in. The Atlanta guys hang out, we have our senior group and the females do be trippin sometimes, but its ok because we all come together in the end. Im sure when we get to college it will be a different story

Fa real I love my black people. But I think I might have caught a whiff of white girl voice. I speak like a black person but real proper unless I'm chillin wit my peeps and the ebonics flow.

Thats ok that you picked up a lil accent. We need to stop getting on ourselves about speaking in a different tone of voice that we dont hear in music viedoes or whatever. Im sure your voice is beautiful no matter how you speak honey. Keep doin your thing :wink:
